As we slide from summer into autumn, we are busy cataloguing for the 2026/2027 auction programme, and we have a spectacular range of Lots to present.
Due to significant demand, we have an extensive programme of evening, on-line only sales as well as our popular hybrid sales live in the Goldsmith Hangar and also broadcast live on-line over the coming months.
Sadly, a number of well-known engine collectors have left us over the last few months but pleasingly their families have viewed the BMFA platform as the most effective solution for disposing of the significant number of engines involved.
As always, we have an interesting mix of items coming up for sale with around 3000 engines and some 500 kits.
Kits represent a mix of free flight, control line and radio control, with some rare and desirable examples that don’t come up too often, after a Keikraft Fleetwing for your collection? Absolutely need a Mini Super to recapture your radio flying younger days. Fancy topping up on rubber powered scale kits, or perhaps a classic control liner or two? We can assist with all of those…and there are a few boats in there too.
On the engine front we have plenty of the stuff you see regularly, if you need a two stroke OS or Irvine for your everyday hack then there’s certainly bargains to be had.
Looking for something with a little more pedigree? Then there’s no shortage of Lasers, four stroke OS’s as well as some rather more exotic “strokers” from Webra, OPS and Hirtenberger.
Of course, there are plenty of British diesels and sparkies for your bidding pleasure as well as some rather beautiful American Elf’s for the discerning collector.
There are some well-known names in there and we are pleased to feature a number of engines from the collection of the late Norman Fallows, some absolute masterpieces from an engine building legend which includes a number of compressed air engines as well as the more usual internal combustion engines.
Due to demand and the scope of some of the collections we have branched out a little from our usual activity, and we have a substantial collection of Corgi (and similar) die cast aviation models coming up which are very nice.
So, plenty to keep you entertained and stocked up over the coming dark nights.
